LITTLE HEART DAY - 14 February 2017
Reremoana School has got a big heart.
Every 14 hours, a heart child is born in New Zealand – that’s 12 new babies and families every week facing a tough journey ahead of them! We want to show our love on Valentine’s Day by holding a “Little Heart Day”. As well as being Valentine’s Day, 14 February is also International Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) Day so we want our students to show their love in a more unconventional way and raise money for Heart Kids! This is a good example of 'do good, because good is good to do!'
How can every Reremoana family help?
By supporting our “Little Heart Day” you can help change the lives of these families as they face the daily challenges that come with living a life affected by a congenital heart defect. Your help will allow us to support these families on this difficult and challenging journey. Reremoana will hold a Mufti day on the 14th of February. We ask that our students dress in red or heart themed clothes and kindly ask for donations on the day. All money raised will go towards Heart Kids New Zealand.
